Loosen the mounting bolts for the gearbox and pulley.

(See illustration.) Then adjust the adjustment bolt until

the belts are adequately tightened.

BELT ADJUSTMENT

Re-tighten the pulley bolts at regular intervals.

To keep the clamp bushing in place while replacing belt or pulley:
•

Loosen and remove 3 bolts from the pulley.

•

Insert them in the threaded holes on the clamp bushing.
(See marked holes in the illustration.)

•

Then remove the remaining bolts.

•

Replace belt/pulley and then reassemble all bolts.

•

Tighten and check the belt tension, and adjust if necessary.

•

Repeat the procedure on the lower pulley.

CHECK AND TIGHTEN COG BELT AFTER ONE HOUR OF OPERATION!!
