4 Local load management
The KeContact P30 x-series (MASTER) is a local load management system for a group of up to 15 P20/P30
c-series charging stations (SLAVES) with common power supply.
Depending on the configured mode (1- or 3-phase), the load management will allocate the available current
to the charging stations.
Once the charging procedure has been ended by an electric vehicle, the current that was available to this
charging station will be divided amongst the remaining active charging procedures.
Connection via a router
1 ... KeContact P30 x-series (master) 2 ... KeContact P30 c-series (slave)
3 ... KeContact P20 c-series (slave)
Before you start configuring the charging station and the network, please update the MASTER charging
station to the most current software version ("
7 Software update process [61] ").
The MASTER charging station will then automatically detect all connected SLAVE charging stations
within the Ethernet network and update these to the firmware version which is stored in the master
charging station.
