1. Message
1.1
SMS
1.1.1 Write
With this menu, you can write a text message of up to 160 alphanumeric characters, and then you
can save and send the message.
Input a text message and then press the [Option soft key]. In the Send menu, enter the recipient
phone number on the Destination screen. You can input the number directly or get from the
phonebook by pressing the [Search soft key].
If you press the [Option soft key] on the screen, following options are available.
z Send : Sends the text message to the recipient phone number. The message doesn’t be saved.
z Save : Saves the text message.
z Insert number : You can search number in the phone book, and add the number to the
message when you edit it.
z Insert text : The text is pre-defined message. You can add the text of the list to the message
when you edit it.
1.1.2 Inbox
With this menu, you can view the new text messages or the read messages.
Sender phone numbers or names (if stored in the Phonebook) are displayed on the list.
The small icon on the far right side of the each list indicates following meanings.
: The message is the unread new message.
: The message is the read message.
