3. Phonebook
You can store the phone numbers and their corresponding names in the memory of your SIM card. In
addition, you can store up to 200 numbers and names into your phone memory. The SIM card memory
and phone memories are physically separated but they are searched as a single entity.
To view your phonebook press the [Names soft key] in the idle screen.
3.1 Search

Press the [Select soft key] in the Phonebook. (To select Search in the menu).
2. Press the first letter of the name that you want to search for. (In the <T9Abc>)
3. Press the [OK soft key]. (The stored names in the phonebook will be listed in alphabetical
order.)
4. Press [Navi-UP] and [Navi-DOWN] to find the name of the person you wish to send a SMS
message.
5. Press the [Select soft key] in the name of the person you wish to send a SMS message.
6. Press the [Option soft key] in the selected the name. And then select option.
7. If you press [Option soft key] after locating the menu cursor to the name you wish to do an
action, the following options are available.
„ Edit: edits the number and name of the selected record .
„ Delete: deletes the selected record .
„ Copy: copies the record to the SIM card or the phone memory.
„ Default No.: In many type numbers (mobile phone number, house phone number,
company phone number, fax number or other number), you can select this number for
default number.
3.2 Add entry
1. Press the [Select soft key] in the Phonebook. (To select Add entry in the menu).
2. Press [Navi-UP] and [Navi-DOWN] to select SIM or Phone.
3. If you select SIM , you can select following category type.
„ Enter name: Add the enter name
„ Number : SIM Number
„ Set tone : Assign melody you want to this number
„ Set image : Assign image you want to this number
