1 Intended Use
The
THYRO
SWITCH
is a power electronics component for connecting capacitive loads to the power
network. The device is intended exclusively for installation in switchgear and controlgear. Both non-reactor- and
reactor-protected (up to 14%) compensation stages can be switched. First and foremost, symmetrical three-phase
current compensation is intended as the application, but it is also possible to switch two separate alternating
current compensation stages simultaneously.
