IP Address: Enter the IP address of the SNTP/NTP server.
•
Sync Time: Select the time interval for the encoder to synchronize its time.
•
Set Manually; Date: Select the current date.
•
Set Manually; Time: Select the current time.
•
Time Zone: Select the time zone offset for local settings.
•
Day Light Saving; Start Time: Select the appropriate date and time when Day
Light Savings starts
•
End Time: Select the date and time when the time reverts to standard time.
Note:
Click on “Apply” in this section of the web browser GUI to apply changes to
the Date Setting.
3.3.3
Network: IP Address Filtering
The encoder can deny or allow certain IP addresses in order to filter network traffic
coming into the device. In “Allow” mode, the encoder will filter all IP addresses other
than the list of allowed IP addresses. All IP addresses that the encoder must listen
for must be listed manually. In “Block” mode, the user lists the IP addresses not
allowed and the encoder will allow all other IPs.
Note:
Configuration of this option must be performed with care. If the IP address
of your computer is not listed in the “Allow” (or is listed in the “Block” list)
you will be denied access from the encoder web browser GUI.
An
incorrect configuration may result in the need for a hard reset to
factory default.
