13 Disassembly
..‡ CAUTION!
Reckless use of necessary tools such as screw drivers, cordless drills
etc. can cause hand injuries.
Please note
The service life of care beds for domestic use is approx. five (5) years.
Frequent transporting, assembling/disassembling and moving reduces
the service life of the care bed.
Transport, (dis)assemble and move the care bed only if necessary.
Only have a technician assemble and disassemble the care bed.
Therefore please contact the manufacturer for assistance (see
chapter “Manufacturer”).
Disassembling care bed
‡ WARNING!
Risk of injury! Only disassemble the care bed when there is no patient
inside the bed.
‡ CAUTION!
Moving parts. Limbs can get crushed in the doors. Pay attention to
your limbs.
1. Remove the mattress.
2. Loosen the brass caps from the doors using an Allen key (pos. 35).
Then remove the doors.
3. Remove sleeping platform:
4. Loosen 4x45 mm screws.
5. Disconnect the power supply cable from the socket.
6. Disconnect the plugs of the height adjustment mechanism (pos.
48)
7. Remove the sleeping platform.
8. Then remove all brass caps on one side frame.
9. Remove the side frame from the connecting frames.
10. Remove the brass caps from the connecting frame on the second
side frame. Then remove the connecting frame.
