Care Bed

Care beds for children
‹ The care bed may only be moved by the operator or user.
‹
Children must never be left unattended in the vicinity of the care
bed.
‹ The care bed must never be used on any inclined surface.
Normal use
If the patient is meant to lie unattended in the bed:
1. Close the outwardly opening doors (see Section ‘Opening/closing
outwardly opening doors’) and close the door lock (see Section
‘Opening/closing the door lock’).
Moving the care bed
2. Release the brakes on the castors.
CAUTION!
3. Moving parts. People or animals may be crushed between the
care bed and other surfaces. When moving the care bed, make
sure that no people, animals or objects are in the danger area.

Move the care bed as desired.
4. Reapply the brakes on the castors.
5. Check that the bed no longer moves.
Opening/closing the door lock
1. To open the door lock, pull out the red buttons on the brackets.
2. Release the door lock by pulling up the bar. Make sure you don’t
injure anyone with the door lock bar.
» You can now open the outwardly opening doors (see Section
‘Opening/closing the outwardly opening door’).
3. To lock the door lock once again, put the door lock on the bra-
ckets again. The retaining bars engage over the door latches.
4. Press the red button on the brackets to lock the door lock.
