3. Ceiling Fan Assembly

It is critical that the pin in the hanger ball is properly 

installed and the set screw securely tightened. Failure 

to verify that the pin and set screw are properly 

installed could result in the fan falling.

Place the Ceiling Cover over the 10” Downrod. 
Be sure the Ceiling Cover is oriented correctly 

(Figure 16).

Route the Two Motor Wires through the Hanger Ball. 
Reinstall the Hanger Ball (Figure 17) on the Downrod 

as follows:
Position the Pin through the Two Holes in the Downrod 

and align the Ball so the Pin is captured in the Groove 

in the top of the Hanger Ball. 
Pull the Hanger Ball up tight against the Pin and 

securely tighten the Set Screw in the Hanger Ball. 
NOTE: A loose set screw could create fan wobble.
