KASTOR FERO and FERO JK
Traditional wood burning sauna stove, non-continuous heating. Once the stones have
been heated up red-hot, the sauna stove will be ready to use for several hours.
Features of the sauna stove (Table 1 and 2)
The sauna stove is delivered as assembled without structural clay stones.
Volume of the sauna room 12-22 m 3
Heating up takes about 1.5 h depending on the conditions.
Weight 138 kg + the stones 75 kg
Smoke flue, round 130 mm, brick flue ½ stone.
Temperature of flue gas 434°C. Required chimney T-600
Use only clean, dry chopped wood for fuel (no other fuel is allowed)
We recommend structural clay stones
The amount of round structural clay stones. 100 mm- 20 kg, 80 mm- 40 kg, 60 mm- 10 kg in total
Finally, the surface of small stones 5-10 Kg
1. Before you install
Inspect both product and the contents of the package as soon as you receive them. Report
any transport damages to the deliverer.

1.2. Important matters and regulations
Check the suitability of the heater for the sauna, maximum and minimum cubic contents,
table (1).
Non-insulated wall and ceiling surfaces such as brick, concrete surfaces, tile and glass
increases the output requirement of the stove. For every surface like this square meters
is added to a volume of 1.5m³
In saunas with timber walls, 25% is added to the calculated volume.
In order to avoid damages during transport, the heater must be transported in an upright
position.
All sticker labels and packaging material must be removed before the heater is used. Type
plate must not be removed.
In addition to these instructions, all local regulations must be followed, including those
referring to local and European standards. They must be complied with when installing
the heater.
