11. Do not place the product on any heated surfaces while in use.
12. Do not use the product outdoors.
13. Keep appliance and powercord away from heat, direct sunlight, water,
moisture, sharp edges and the like.
14. Under no circumstances must the appliance be placed in water or any
liquid or come in contact with liquid. Do not handle the appliance with wet
or moist hands. Should the appliance become wet or moist, remove the main
plug from the socket immediately.
15. Do not operate the appliance without any ingredients in it.
16. Do not pull or carry by the cord, close the doors on cord, or pull cord
around sharp edges/corners.
17. Always disconnect the plug from the sock-outlet when you do not use the
appliance.
18. This appliance is not a toy; keep it out of reach from children.
19. Store the appliance and accessory parts out of the reach of children. Chil-
dren must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
20. Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation.
21. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or work surface
and make sure it does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
22. Do not use the appliance:
• If the plug or powercord is/are damaged,
• If the unit has been damaged in any way,
• If it felt down
23. Always connect the appliance to an easily accessible power outlet.
24. When disconnecting the plug from the power outlet, always pull at the
plug; do not pull on the cable itself.
25. Never immerse the appliance, the powercord or plug in water or any other
liquid.
26 Do not hold the appliance or powercord with wet hands.
27. Make sure to unplug the appliance after use.
28. Do not move the device when in use.
29. Unplug the appliance from the mains electrical supply before:
• Cleaning
• Immediately after use
30. This appliance is not intended to operate by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
31. CAUTION! The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when
operating.
32. DO NOT TOUCH THE HEATING PLATE WHILE IN USE. RISK OF BURNS!
33. The surfaces of this appliance may become hot during use. Do not touch
hot surfaces. Use the handle.
34. Use only wooden utensils or heat resistant plastic. Do not use metal
utensils (forks, knives, etc.). Failure to do so may endanger the user and cause
damage to the device (including the non-stick coating).
35. Never cover the plates with aluminum foil and never place dishes, plates,
etc. on the cooking surfaces.
36. Use oven mitts when removing food from the appliance without burning
yourself.
37. After use, always replace the thermostat knob to “0” (off) and wait for the
machine to cool before handling and cleaning.
38. Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces (notably in contact with
food), thanks to refer to the paragraph “advice for care & storage” in this
manual.
39. Repairs to the appliance must only be carried out by an authorized spe-
cialist or by the works customer senate. This particularly applies to replacing
a damaged connection cable. Unqualified repairs can lead to considerable
danger for the user.
40. If the power cord is damaged, it must be repaired by the manufacturer,
reseller, its after-sales service, or by a third person with similar qualification, in
order to avoid all risks.
41. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
