Defect
Gas smell, unusually high amount of gas
used
No gas to consumer devices
Gas cooker can not be ignited. The flame
dies out upon releasing the knob.
Possible cause
Leaky gas system
Gas cylinder valve closed
Shut-off valve in the supply line closed
Outside temperature too low, gas cylinders
filled with butane
Malfunction in the installed device
Ignition safeguard defective
Remedy
Open doors and windows and turn off the
entire gas system. Avoid all activities that
could cause ignition (e.g. open fire, smoking
or electrical switches). Seek a specialist
repair shop and have the system inspected
for leaks.
Open the gas cylinder valve
Open the shut-off valve
During winter, always use pure propane
(down to -32°C)
