Troubleshooting
Hot water heater
Filling with Water
1. Check that all pipes are connected correctly. Then proceed
as follows:
a)
Open a hot tap – leave it open.
b) Turn the adjustable knob on the mixer valve all the way
to ‘+’.
c) Open the cold-water supply to the unit.
2. Check that the water from the open hot water tap is flowing
freely, without any air locks.
3. Close hot tap.
Turning on the Power
When the cylinder has been filled with water, the power can be
switched on. Turn on circuit breaker.
Pressure
doesn’t
reduce
It’s possible that membrane has hopped out of
position, this can happen when the pressure has
been adjusted too high, over the max point of 5.5
to 6 bar.
Follow this procedure:
1. Close ball valve on input side to stop
pressure coming through pressure
reducing valve.
2. Release pressure after pressure reducing
valve, by for example opening a tap.
3. Adjust pressure reducing valve, below
5.5bar.
4. Open ball valve on input side. Check on the
manometer that the output pressure is
reduced in accordance with the knob
position.
