Danger
Risk of electric shock!
Work on electrical plant only to be carried
out by qualified electricians.
Switch the plant to voltage-free with all
work, in this case switch the plant at the
main switch to “0”and secure against it
switching on again.
Who may remedy faults?
Operator
Work designated with the sign “Operator”
may only be carried out by persons who
have been instructed in the safe operation
and maintenance on the wash plant
Electricians
Persons with a professional training in the
electro-technical area.
Customer Service
Work designated with the sign “Customer
Service” may only be done by the fitters of
Kärcher Customer Service or fitters who
have been authorised by Kärcher.

DANGER

Switch on the plant voltage-free, in addition
switch on the main switch to “0” and secure
it against being switched on again.
Risk of eye injuries from parts flying off or
dirt. Keep clear off rotating brushes. Gog-
gles must be worn during maintenance
work.
Troubleshooting
Faults

Protective motor switch was triggered. Check the current pickup.
Brush is does not reach re-
quired speed Bearings stuck. Check the brush bearing. Operator
Dosing pump does not
suck in spite of ventilation
and maximum dosing vol-
ume Residue on valve seats, stuck valves. Flush the suction hoses and valves. Operator
Dosing pump sucks air Connection of suction valve or pressure
valve leaks. Check the valves and suction hoses for leaks. Operator
Pump head not tightened. Tighten the pump head screws. Operator
Pumps of the dosing pump
leak Pump head not tightened.
Membrane spring broken. Tighten the pump head screws.
Replace the membrane. Operator
Dosing pump does not op-
erate even though the indi-
cator lamp is lit. No power supply Check power supply and ensure proper sup-
ply. Operator
Fuse defective. Replace the fuse. Operator
PCB defective. Replace PCB. Qualified
