Release lever
2. Insert a coin between the housing and the lever at both
ends of the lever.
3. Let go of the release lever.
4. Push the device.
5. Remove both coins immediately after pushing.
Adjusting the seat
Adjusting the height
1. Stand next to the device.
2. Raise the seat at the back.
3. Align the front seat bracket to the desired height of the
device.
4. Lower the seat at the back.
Adjusting the position
1. Operate the seat adjustment lever and move the seat to
the desired position.
2. Release the seat adjustment lever and latch the seat in-
to position.
Switching the device on
1. Sit in the driver's seat.
2. Insert the Intelligent Key.
3. Set the safety button to "1".
4. Turn the program switch to the desired function.
5. If one of the displays below appears on the display, take
your foot off the accelerator pedal, set the safety button
to "0" and carry out the necessary maintenance work.
6. Press the Info button.
7. Reset the counter for the corresponding maintenance
(see "Reset gray intelligent key / maintenance count-
er").
Note
If the counter is not reset, the maintenance display ap-
pears again each time the device is switched on.
Switching on the light
Daytime running light
The daytime running light is in operation when the device
is switched on.
Sidelight
The sidelight lights up as soon as the program switch is set
to a cleaning program.
Checking the parking brake

Danger of accident
Before each operation, check the function of the parking
brake on level ground.
1. Switch the device on.
2. Set the travel direction switch to "Forward".
3. Set the program switch to "Drive".
4. Press the accelerator pedal lightly.
The brake must audibly unlock. The device must roll
easily on a plane surface.
5. Release the accelerator pedal.
The brake must audibly engage.
If this is not the case, take the device out of operation and
call customer service.

Before using the device, it is essential to check the function
of the parking brake. Never use the device if the parking
brake does not work.

Danger of tipping over
Only drive in the direction of travel and across the direction
of travel on gradients up to maximum of 10%.
Do not turn on gradients.
Drive slowly in corners and on wet ground.
Only drive the device on stable ground.
Note
The safety assistant supports and brakes on inclines and
during fast cornering.
Note
The travel direction can be changed during the journey op-
eration. This allows very dull spots to be polished by mov-
ing back and forth several times.
1. Assume a seated position.
2. Insert the Intelligent Key.
3. Turn the safety button to "1".
4. Set the program switch to "Drive".
5. Set the direction of travel using the driving direction
switch on the control panel.
6. Determine the travel speed by pressing the accelerator
pedal.
7. Release the accelerator pedal.
The device stops.
The drive motor is switched off in the event of an overload.
A fault message appears on the display. If the control sys-
tem overheats, the affected power unit is switched off.
8. Allow the device to cool down for at least 15 minutes.
