It is allowed to mount flowmeter without straight pipes insert in case
of fulfilment of the following conditions:
n
the values of straight pipes lengths should meet the requirements of
2.1 table;
n
internal diameter of pipeline adjacent to flowmeter may differ from
the specified dimension type of a flowmeter not more than by 10 %,
in this case internal diameter of a pipeline should always be greater
than flowmeter FT. Permissible variation of flowmeters diameters
are given in table 2.2.
In case of flowmeter installation on horizontal and sloping pipes of
heating and HWS systems EM installation angle relative to horizon
should be within the range of 0-45°, figure 2.3.
The present mounting method allows to considerably reduce EM heat-
ing by hot convection current.
Flowmeters should be installed on pipelines unexposed to vibration.
In case of pipeline vibration with frequency and amplitude values ex-
ceeding permissible values, it is required to install additional pipe sup-
ports.
