1.5. Marking and sealing
1.5.1. Marking
The following places of flowmeter are marked:
1 — nameplate (marking table), located on the back wall of EM
(14 callout, figure 1.7);
2 — EM front face (figure 1.7);
3 — FT body (2 callout, figure 1.4)
Flowmeters are marked with labels presented in table 1.5.

Shipping containers are marked with labels in accordance with GOST
14192 (“Marking of cargoes”).
Pattern approval mark of measurement instruments is stamped on
cover page of flowmeter certificate and operations manual in accor-
dance with requirements of MR 50.2.107-09 (metrological regulations).
1.5.2. Sealing
Flowmeters are sealed in order to prevent unauthorized tampering in
operation of configured, verified devices placed in operation.
Flowmeters structure provides for 2 sealing levels.
1 level — QCD (quality control department) seal (6 callout, figure 1.7)
placed after manufacturing and seal stamped with verification mark
(7 callout, figure 1.7). The present seal prevent EM body from tamper.
Seals, made of special self-stick paper which tears in case of tamper-
ing, are located under cover and are sticked over slices, which join top
and bottom parts of EM.
2 level — seal (seals) of interested party, with the help of which
flowmeter is protected from tamping after mounting. Special holes (1
and 8 callouts, figure 1.7), located on EM body of flowmeter, are pro-
vided for sealing.
1.6. Packing and scope of delivery
Flowmeters are packed in boxes of corrugated cardboard. In order to
prevent shifts and breakages flowmeter is fixed inside a box by me-
ans of cardboard partitions. Maintenance documentation is packed in
polyethylene bags and is put inside the box.
