2.1.2 Mac Users
To run K from Mac OS X, connect your Defender Basic+ to your computer through a USB
port. A CD icon ‘K’ will appear on the desktop. Double click on the K icon to open
it.
In the window that opens, double-click on the K.app file to launch the K application.
Caution!
The K.app file needs to remain on your Defender Basic+’s CD-ROM partition at
all times. Always run the application from the Defender Basic+’s CD-ROM partition. Do not try to copy
K or run K from your computer’s hard drive.
Note:
The K icon is not always displayed on the desktop. If you do not see the K
icon on your desktop, you can locate the K.app file in the CD-Rom partition through the
Finder window.
