The PCB is Static sensitive, so please ensure you
have taken the correct precautions and have
ensured you have touched a grounded piece of
equipment, or attach an ESD strap to yourself
that is attached to ground.
Take the 4 wires that you have prepared
and solder them into the positions marked
on the PCB, taking care not to use too
much heat as you will damage the PCB,
and surrounding components. Double
check your work to ensure you have not
created any shorts or solder bridges.
Now place the Felt Pad over the switches on
the front panel. Then take the front half of
the case and offer the PCB to it, being careful
not to damage the LCD screen. Take the x 4
longer screws and use these to hold the PCB
in place. The LCD cover has a protective cover
on it remove one side (the side that will be
next to LCD) Do not remove both sides as you
may scratch it whilst finishing the
construction. With the x 4 smaller screws fit this to
the front of the case, in some cases we have found
that you may need
to use the 4 nuts
to hold the screws
in place. You
should have
something looking like the picture left. Place safely to one side
