Move the KANE - EGD/RGD tip into higher concentrations of gas indicated by the
increased tic rate and illumination of the yellow and red LED ’ s until the leak is
found.
The tip light is activated by pressing the light/mute button, to turn the light off press
the button once more.
To mute the tic sound press and hold the light/mute button, to reinstate the tic
sound press and hold the mute button again.
Tips:
If the initial tic rate does not settle to once every two seconds, switch off and back
on to allow additional re
- setting time.
The KANE - EGD/RGD may be reset at any time by switching off and back on.
Some leak detection fluids can cause a (temporary) false indication.
Use the KANE - EGD/RGD first!
The KANE - EGD/RGD is intended for use in sheltered areas or indoors as severe
draughts may cause (temporary) false indication.
Avoid contamination by water or dirt and do not allow any reactive chemicals etc.
to come into contact with the sensor.
