•
Plug the appliance into a suitable socket.
•
To avoid contents from overflowing, use the capacity guide on the calibrated glass mixing
jug. Do not exceed 1.7L.
•
Do not blend hot liquids.
•
Place the lid and locking cap securely onto the calibrated glass mixing jug.
•
Choose the mixing speed with the button on the motor base. Position “0” corresponds to
stopping the appliance, position “1” to a slow speed and position “3” to a fast speed.
•
Use position "P" (Pulse) for greater control in short blending jobs. “P” must be held in
position for the blender to run. To prevent over blundering of foods, use the pulse switch.
The blender will stop when the switch is released from grip.
•
“P” is also a suitable and recommended setting for ice crush. To use the ice crush function,
begin with ice cubes no larger than 2cm

. Do not fill the blender past the 500ml mark.
Once the lid is closed firmly, use position “P” for 2 seconds, then leave to rest 2 seconds.
Repeat until ice is crushed to the desired size.
•
Additional ingredients and liquids can be added whilst blending through the additional
ingredients inlet in the plastic lid, or you can remove the lid to allow dry foods through this
larger inlet. Take care not to overload the cutter blades. Ensure that the food to be
blended is not too thick.
•
Once you have finished the preparation, stop the appliance (position “0”) and unplug the
appliance.
•
Remove the jug from the base. Then remove the lid and pour the liquid in the desired
receptacle.
USEFUL INFORMATION
•
Always wait until the unit has cooled to room temperature before performing the next
operation cycle.
•
The plastic lid should always be in place whilst blending.
•
Switch off and unplug the unit before removing the contents of the calibrated glass mixing
jug.
•
Do not switch the blender on if the jug is empty. The blade unit may be damaged if
operated without load.
•
Cut cooked meats into one centimetre before adding into the jug. Do not add raw
meats.
•
Do not use the blender for storing beverages or foods.
HOW TO CLEAN
•
Always unplug from outlet before cleaning.
•
For a quick rinsing of the calibrated glass mixing jug (for example between two
preparations), you can use clear, lukewarm water and switch on your appliance for a few
seconds. In this case, do not use any detergent.
•
For a thorough cleaning, remove the calibrated glass mixing jug from the motor block and
turn the removable blade positioning ring on the bottom of the jug anti-clockwise to
detach the sealing ring and the stainless steel blade (this will make the cleaning easier
and safer). You may then clean these parts with soapy water and rinse thoroughly with
clear water; ensuring protective gloves are worn at all times. Alternatively you can remove
the blades and calibrated glass jug as instructed above, and place these parts only into
the dishwasher. Dry before reassembling. To attach the blades, put the sealing ring around
the blades, insert them in the bottom of the calibrated glass jug and tighten the
removable blade positioning ring by turning it clockwise (tighten vigorously in order to
avoid leaks). Caution, do not lose the seal during this operation.
•
You can wipe the motor block with a soft damp cloth.
