Maintenance manual DRF 400–450

4 Brakes – 4.5.4 Parking brake unit

5 Remove the cover from the brake caliper.

6 Undo the lock nut.

7 Adjust the adjustment screw so that the brakes are applied.

8 Back off the adjustment screw 3/4 of a turn.

9 Tighten the lock nut.

NOTE

To avoid turning the adjustment screw as well it must be
held still when tightening the lock nut.

10 Refit the cover to the caliper.

11 Test the operation of the parking brake.
