Intended use
The Kaleas LDM 500-60 is a measuring device for non-contact
measurement of distances, surface areas and volumes; the distance
from the measuring site cannot exceed 60 m. The measurement us-
es laser technology. The Distance Meter is battery-operated.
Concept design of the LDM 500-60
The LDM 500-60 is used to quickly measure distances on buildings
and objects. The reflection of an emitted laser beam [B] is received
by a measuring probe [A], and its interference is evaluated. State-
of-the-art technology allows very precise measurement even at
larger distances.
Surface areas and volumes are extremely easy to calculate from sev-
eral readings and are automatically determined. Readings can also
be added (plus) or subtracted (minus).
