Maintenance, cleaning and servicing

If necessary, replace the filters as described.

Have the unit repaired only by an authorized technician. Replace damaged components only with original
spare parts or parts that are identical to the original in both quality and function.
Cleaning
}
Clean the device regularly to avoid dust deposits and dirt.
}
Remove dust and dirt at accessible points on the unit, especially the openings for the air inlet (side) and
the air outlet (top) with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use a cleaning agent or solvent.

Moisture must not penetrate the device during cleaning.
Customer service and support
}
Our customer service will answer your questions regarding use, repair and maintenance of your product,
as well as regarding spare parts.
}
The device has undergone careful manufacturing and testing procedures. If it malfunctions, however, send
the device to customer service for repair.
Describe the malfunction in order to simplify troubleshooting.
}
Please send the device clean and free of harmful materials.

Warranty
In accordance with our sales and delivery terms, the warranty period is 24 months from the date of sale if
the device is not used commercially. If there is a warranty claim, please contact our customer service.
The warranty does not include high-use parts, and does not apply to malfunctions resulting from improper
use and insufficient care or maintenance contrary to the directions in these operating instructions.
Disposal
Electrical appliances, accessories and packaging should be disposed of by environmentally appropriate recy-
cling. Do not place electrical appliances or batteries in the trash. Such items should be collected, recycled or
disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
For EU countries only: According to European Directive 2012/19/EU, unusable electrical equipment
must be collected separately and disposed of by environmentally appropriate recycling.
According to Directive 2006/66/EC, defective or depleted batteries must be recycled. Unusable bat-
teries can be delivered to our service address or regional recycling centers for electrical equipment.
General safety instructions

The operating instructions should be accessible to all users; keep them with the device if you pass it on.

Do not remove markings and indicators from the device, nor should you make them illegible.

Do not disassemble or modify the device and its accessories.

Do not let anyone use it who is not familiar with it or who does not understand these instructions.

The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children.

Do not insert any objects into the appliance or hold them in the appliance, except at the points necessary
for maintenance and cleaning.

Do not leave packaging material behind.
It can be dangerous for children and cause suffocation!

In case of emergancy:
Disconnect the device from the electrical current!
Do not connect a defective device to the electric current!

well as protection policies applicable to your job and workplace.
