3. Start Measurement

Start an engine to be measured.

Place the sensor as follows.
High tension cord

Select the desired mode and view.

Current measurement is displayed on the screen.

Measuring with High Tension Cords
Place the high tension cord into the slot of the sensor.
※
If the tachometer reading is unstable, reposition the sensor as far as
possible from other high tension cords.
■
Measuring Direct Ignition System
Place the sensor on the top and center of the ignition module.
※
Reposition the sensor if the instrument is unable to detect the signal.
