Improving the Appearance of the Label
- Using the decoration functions -
Improve the appearance of the label by changing the font and the size of the texts.
To change the appearance of the label press
key, then select a function from the
displayed menu.
Functions of key
Effective area and the position of the cursor
To select a function, move the cursor to the effective area before pressing the function key. The
position of the cursor determines the text to apply the function. The position at which the cursor
should be placed differs depending on the function or the item being set. Refer to the table below
for the position of the cursor.
Function Description Area
Length Sets the length of the printed label. All text
Frame & Table Sets the type of frame and table. All text or by paragraph
Margin Sets the right and left margin of text. All text
Layout Sets the text alignment. All text or by paragraph
Decorate Applies "Outline", "Shadow", and "Shadow
Line" to text. All text, by paragraph, by line,
or by character
Space Sets the spacing between letters or
characters.
Border & Line Applies lines, borders, or shades to text.
Wide & Narrow Makes character large and small.
Background Sets the pattern of "Background". All text
Bold & Italic Applies "Bold, "Italic", or" BoldItalic" to
text. All text, by paragraph, by line,
or by character
Vertical Sets vertical, orientation. All text, by paragraph, by line,
or by character
Line size Sets the text size line by line.
Font type Sets the type of font. All text, by paragraph, by line,
or by character
