The new setting will be saved if you
press the milk button for at least 3
seconds. All buttons will blink once brie-
fly to confirm.

First switch the appliance off by pres-
sing the ON/OFF button.

To display the water filter status, press
the milk button and the ON/OFF button
simultaneously (see figure 2 top).
To activate or deactivate the water filter,
press the milk button briefly once.

In addition to the water filter,
the appliance also takes the
water hardness you have set (see page
13) into consideration when calcula-
ting the descaling intervals.
