Timer Playback
This unit turns on and plays the desired source (CD,
TUNER, USB, iPod, AUDIO IN, AUX) at a preset time.
This unit has 2 types of timer.
Once timer
Once timer play works for one time only at a preset
time, to play the selected source.

Daily timer
Daily timer play works for several times of the preset
time and dates, to play the selected source. For
example, this timer can be set as an alarm clock every
morning.

To set the timer playback
Before setting timer:

Check that the clock is set to the correct time.

Connect the USB device, iPod.iPhone/iPad, or
set the disc to be used for the Timer playback.

Press the [

] button to turn on the power.

Press and hold the [CLOCK/TIMER] button.

Within 10 seconds, press the [

T
]
button to select Once Timer or Daily Timer,
and then press the [ENTER] button.

Within 10 seconds, press the [
S

T
]
button to select “Timer Set”, and then press
the [ENTER] button.

Press the [

T
] button to select the timer
playback source (CD, TUNER, USB, iPod,
AUDIO IN, AUX), and then press the [ENTER]
button.

After selecting “TUNER”, press the [
S

T
]
repeatedly to select the preset broadcasting
channel, and then press the [ENTER] button.

“No Preset” indicator is displayed if the
broadcasting is not preset, and the timer
setting is cancelled.

Press the [

] buttons to set the date,
and then press the [ENTER] button.

If “Once” is selected in step 3, select the date.

If “Daily” is selected in step 3, select the starting
and ending dates.
Example) To set from Monday to Friday, select
“Mon ‒ Fri”.

] buttons to set the hour,
and then press the [ENTER] button.

] buttons to set the minute,
and then press the [ENTER] button.

Set the time to finish as in steps 7 and 8
above.

Adjust the volume with the [/-]
button, and then press the [ENTER] button.

Do not turn the volume up too high.

] button to enter the standby
mode.
TIMER LED lights up and the unit is ready for
timer playback.

When the preset time is reached, playback will
start. The volume will increase gradually until
it reaches the preset volume. “TIMER LED” will
blink during timer playback.

When the timer end time is reached, this unit
will enter the standby mode automatically.
Once timer
The timer will be cancelled after the timer
operation is completed.
Daily timer
Timer setup will be continued until cancelled.
Cancel the setting when it is not in use.
