Connecting to the Mains Supply
• This unit is designed to operate with an AC
power supply.
• Connecting the unit to any other power source
may cause damage to the unit. Unwind the
mains cable to its full length. Connect the
mains plug to a mains socket.
Make sure the
mains plug is fully inserted into the mains socket. The unit is now connected and ready
to use.
• To switch the unit off completely, unplug the mains plug from the mains socket.
Ensure all connections are connected before connecting to the mains power socket.

General Operation
Powering ON/OFF
When you first connect the unit to the mains socket, the unit will be in STANDBY mode.
• Press the Standby button on the unit or the remote control to switch the unit on.
• Press the Standby button on the unit or the remote control to switch the unit back to
STANDBY mode.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket if you want to switch the unit off
completely.
Selecting Modes
Press the SOURCE button repeatedly on the unit to switch between FM, DISC, USB, AUX,
BT and DAB mode. The selected mode will show on the display. Alternatively press the CD/
USB, DAB/FM, AUX and BT button on the remote control to select the desired mode.
• The eco-friendly technology saves power by switching the device to STANDBY mode when there is no
input signal (or weak input signal) in USB/AUX/BT and when CD is not playing (No disc, Stop or Pause)
for over 15 minutes.
• Please turn the unit off completely to save energy when not in use.
Adjusting the Bass
Press the BASS button on the remote control repeatedly to select BASS ON or BASS OFF.
Adjusting the Volume
• Press the VOL+/VOL– button on the unit or remote control to adjust the volume.
• If you wish to turn the sound off, press the MUTE button on the remote control. Press
the MUTE button again or press the VOL +/VOL – button on the remote control.
