Function/variable range
Used to adjust the video level when using auto iris, ALC
and EEI.
Raise the level: increase the number
Lower the level: decrease the number
[Variable range: –128 ~ 127]
Used to set the iris level when the IRIS MODE is set to
MANUAL.
Open iris: increase the number
Close iris: decrease the number
[Variable range: 0 ~ 255]
Used to set the shutter mode.
STEP:
the shutter speed can be changed using the
SPEED submenu item.
V.SCAN: used to clear the horizontal line noise when re-
cording a PC monitor by adjusting scan speed
of the camera to that of the monitor.
The shutter can be changed in detail using the
SPEED submenu item. (Recording a PC moni-

page 42))
RANDOM: Used to synchronize the CCD accumulation
timing with the FREEZE input. (
page 45)
The shutter speed can be changed using the
SPEED submenu item.
EEI:
Used to automatically change the shutter speed
depending on the object brightness.
(max: 1/2384.7 s)
OFF:
• 1/30 s when VGA is set to the DRAFT mode
• 1/7.5 s when VGA is set to the FINE mode
• 1/7.5 s when in the SXGA mode
The shutter sped can be changed when the shutter is set
to STEP, V.SCAN or RANDOM.

4 s, 2.8 s, 2 s, 1.4 s, 1s, 1/2 s, 1/4 s,
1/8 s, 1/15 s, 1/30 s, 1/60 s, 1/125 s,
