3.1.7 Removing the front panel assembly

(See Fig.21 to 24)

• Prior to performing the following procedure, remove the top

cover / side cover (R) and (L), the CD fitting / CD changer
mechanism unit.

(1) Disconnect the wire from connector

CN861

on the power

board.

(2) Disconnect the earth wire from the base chassis on the bot-

tom of the right side of the body.

(3) From the bottom of the body, remove the two screws

at-

taching the front panel assembly.

(4) Release the two joints

on the side of the body and the joint

on the bottom using a screwdriver, and remove the front

panel assembly forward.
