Presetting services in the main unit allows you to
easily tune in to the desired service.
Presetting services
You can store up to 30 services.

Select a service you want to store.
• Refer to “Receiving a broadcast”
(
A
page 38).

Press MEMORY.
• The preset number flashes in the display
window.
Example:

While the preset number is
flashing, press the number
buttons to select the preset
number you want to assign.
• Refer to “How to use the number buttons”
(
A
page 18) .
• You can also use
PRESET
or
PRESET
to select the preset number.

While the selected number is
flashing, press MEMORY or
ENTER.
• “STORED” appears and the selected
service is stored.
NOTE
• You may not be able to preset some services. If you
try to preset these services, the next presettable
service is stored instead. Until you actually try to
preset a service, you do not know whether that
service can be preset.
• You can stop storing a service before you finish the
setting by pressing
CANCEL
.
Tuning in to a preset service

Select “DAB” for the source
setting.
• Refer to step 1 of “Selecting a service”

page 38).

Press the number buttons to
select the preset number for the
desired service.
• Refer to “How to use the number buttons”
(

page 18).
• You can also use
PRESET
or
PRESET
to select the preset number.
• When the selected service cannot be
received due to the radio reception status,
“EMPTY” appears in the display window.
