4. UNLOCKING DEVICE IN SYSTEM MMI
Unlocking device in system MMI can be allowed after completely
installing AMI-V6.

ARNING:
OBD dongle can be used only in car in which was
unlocking AMI function
OBD dongle is equipped in red LED, which inform about current OBD dongle state:

Directly after connecting to OBD diagnostic connector, LED flashes with 1Hz
frequency to the time of start communicating

During unlocking LED shine continuously
-
After successful completion of unlocking LED goes out
.
-
Unlocking continues approx. 1min
.
-
If LED diode flashes fast (approx. 5Hz) indicates an error in unlocking or used
dongle does not belong to that car
.
1.
Turn on the ignition and wait approx. 40 sec.
2.
Plug dongle
(Fig. 2)
in OBD diagnostic socket,
which is on the right side over
driver's legs
. (Fig. 3)
3.
After inserting dongle, LED start flashing with the frequency of 1Hz and after
certain time LED will be shining continuously.
4.
After about one minute the LED should go out
.
WARNING:
During unlocking process does not remove dongle from
OBD socket
.
