The full launch of the AMI-V6 system requires two steps:
1.
Instalation of the unit and its connections.
2.
Inclusion function AMI in MMI system via dongle which is included in the
device set. The description on page 4 and 5.
The following description and the drawing is only a symbolic connection diagram
of MMI main unit 3G with AMI-V6 interface.
Proper connection the device in the car requires the removal
the MMI main unit and glove compartment.
Installation example AMI-V6 is shown on the 7, 8 page. “EXAMPLE OF
INSTALLATION”
WARNING:
If the vehicle is equipped with factory-socket AUX IN (jack) this input
will be not active and not connected.
All operations of installing , dismantling, disconnecting switching bundle should be
performed after switching off the ignition and MMI system.
1. Disconnect the main connector ISO from MMI unit.
2. Remove green plug from ISO socket.
3. In place of the removed plug, put in green plug of bundle AMI-V6
.

4. Insert the FAKRA plug of bundle AMI-V6 to MMI unit
.

5. Connect the other side of the bundle to the interface AMI-V6.
