MAINTENANCE

Defrosting

Must be carried out if the box is to remain unused for an extended period



The cooler box must be defrosted regularly to ensure that it functions properly.



To defrost the box, unplug it and remove all the food inside. If necessary, use a cloth with warm
water. After de-icing, wipe up the water with a dry cloth to clean the inside.



If you are not planning to use the cooler box for a long period of time, unplug it and empty it
completely. After de-icing, clean and dry the inside of the box. To prevent unpleasant odours, leave
the lid slightly open.

When the cooler box has been not used for a longer period:

If the box does not chill, unplug it and turn it upside down for a few minutes. Then turn it upright again.
After turning it upside down several times, reconnect it.

Cleaning



Clean the cooler box with warm water and if necessary a detergent.



Never use corrosive products. Dry the cleaned surfaces with a soft cloth. Only use clean water to
clean the sealing strip around the lid and then seal the sealing strip with talc powder.

Service



All repairs, particularly those on the cooling unit or the gas burner system, must be performed by
qualified technicians.

If a problem occurs, check the following:



Is the cooler box installed in a horizontal position?



Is there sufficient ventilation?



For 220V power outlets, make sure that the power outlet is correct. And that the thermostat is set
correctly.



For battery use, check the battery and the connection.



For gas use, is the burner lit?



Has the ignition fuse (adjustment) been set to MAX?



Is the gas cylinder valve and/or pressure regulator open?



Is there still sufficient gas in the cylinder? If no liquid is heard when the cylinder is moved or shaken
the cylinder is empty.



Have two types of energy (gas and electricity) been chosen at the same time?



Has too much food been placed inside the box at the same time? Place the food so that air can
circulate freely inside the cooler box.



Do not use pieces of cardboard or plastic to separate. Containers with liquids must be kept closed.

If, after carrying out the above checks, you still need to contact our service department, please describe
the problem, the type of equipment and its serial number.
