After a sufficient period of cooling (approximately 5 hours), the thermostat can be set to the middle
position. The temperature is automatically controlled by the thermostat.
Turning off
Turn the thermostat anti-clockwise to 0.
Pull out the plug from the wall socket.
Use with a battery (12V or 24V DC)
Never use another source of energy at the same time (mains power, liquefied petroleum gas). A fuse
must be installed in the power cable between the battery and the cooling box.
For 12V, the fuse must have a maximum rating of 6.25 ampere. For 24V, the maximum rating must be
3.12 ampere.

It is not necessary to check the polarity when you start the box. Check that the battery’s voltage
corresponds with that of the cooler box. This is marked on the corresponding label. When the battery
being used is a car battery. Only use the cooler box while the car is travelling. If the cooler box is left
switched on while the car is stationary, the battery may discharge and it may be impossible to start the
engine. When the box is operated via the battery, thermostat controlled regulation is not available.
Recommendation
Pre-cool the cooler box by running it on the power outlet before you begin your journey.
Starting
Plug the connector that comes with the cooler box into the cigarette lighter socket in the vehicle.
Disconnecting the box
Unplug the connector from the cigarette lighter socket.
Using liquefied petroleum gas
It is prohibited to run the cooler box on liquefied petroleum gas in road vehicles and on boats. It is also
forbidden to use liquefied petroleum gas in enclosed areas. This box must be outdoors when using
liquefied petroleum gas.
Outdoor use means that the box can be installed under a canopy of a tent, adequately ventilated or on a
terrace in a flat and level garden.
Never use another source of energy at the same time (mains power, battery). The label on the rear of the
box shows the recommended pressure for the gas supply (in millibar). The box cannot be used at a
different pressure than that stated. It is recommended to use a suitable pressure regulator (butane 28-30
mbar or propane 37 mbar).
Storing gas cylinders
Store the gas cylinder in a cool, dry and ventilated area, out of direct sunlight.
Do not expose the gas cylinder to temperatures above 50ºC.
