WARNING:
Keep a safe distance from sources that can be ignited during this process. Do not smoke.
Connect the COOLER BOX in the following order:
Gas cylinder> pressure regulator> box
The gas connection hose on the rear of the box is designed for a standard NF XPD 36 110
butane/propane flexible hose. It is necessary to follow the assembly and connection instructions to
connect the box. Avoid excessive twisting and bending. Bends on the gas hose must have a radius of
more than 40 mm. The hose length must not exceed 1.5 m.
If you want to check for leaks, please use soapy water and not fire.
Strictly forbidden to check for leaks using fire.
Do not smoke: danger of explosion and burns.
The valve on the gas cylinder MUST be closed when changing the cylinder and/or disconnecting the
hose.
Replace the hose if it is damaged or has become porous and before the expiration date printed on the
side has passed.
Fitting the gas valve
This assembly consists of an
adjustment device
with a built-in safety switch and a burner with electric
ignition.
The adjustment device can be set to three different positions:
Max
Maximum cooling
MIN
Minimum cooling
0 off
Ignition position/burner’s gas supply shut off
The safety switch automatically maintains the gas supply to the burner as long as required. It
automatically shuts off the supply if the flame goes out.
Igniting the burner for the liquefied petroleum gas
Open the valve on the gas cylinder.
Press the adjustment knob and hold it in this position, then turn it anti-clockwise to max.
If the device has not been lit for a long time, or if the gas cylinder has been replaced, there may be
air in the duct which prevents it from igniting. Make sure the pilot light is lit by looking through the
opening in the top of the box. If it fails to ignite, try again after about 10 seconds.
When the outdoor temperature is low, turn the adjustment to MIN after a sufficiently long cooling
period in the MAX position.
To disconnect a box driven by gas far from any source of ignition
Turn off the gas cylinder or pressure regulator.
Turn the knob to OFF.
Storing food
Always place liquids in closed containers before storing them in the cooler box.
The air circulation inside the box must not be obstructed.
Never place hot food or drinks in the box.
Never store flammable liquids and/or gas in the cooler box. Risk of explosion.
