OPERATION
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
COMFORT – The mixer automatically maintains the set temperature.
SAFETY – The safety lock at 38°C prevents scalding accidents. Press the red button to obtain hotter
water. If the cold water flow is insufficient, the total flow is automatically reduced.
ECONOMY – Some models have a green button that limits the flow to half of the maximum flow.
Operating conditions
Minimum pressure 1 bar/maximum pressure 5 bar. Install the pressure reducer in the event of a
higher pressure. Balance the supply pressures for hot and cold water.
The hot water heater (electricity or gas-driven) must have an output of at least 18 kW.
Recommended hot water temperature: Maximum 65/85°C, minimum 10°C.
We recommend that you install a water softener if the water is very hard.
Installation
Clean the water pipes to remove any impurities.
Follow the markings for cold and hot water (red
plug).
Wind Teflon thread-sealing tape onto the water
pipes' eccentric cap nuts.
Fit covers on the eccentric cap nuts.
Install the filter seals at the bottom in the clamp nuts
and screw the mixer onto the eccentric cap nuts. The
thermostatic mixer must be installed horizontally.
Adjustment
The thermostatic mixer is preset at 38°C with a pressure of 3 bar, a minimum water temperature of 15°C
and a maximum water temperature of 65°C. If your installation is different, the thermostatic mixer may
need to be adjusted.
Adjusting the thermostatic cartridge
Turn on the water and measure its temperature with a thermometer.
Remove the plug (1) and the screw (2). Turn the temperature knob (3) back slightly so that it is free
of the stop on the white ring during adjustment.
Carefully turn the spindle, which is still engaged, to 38°C.
Replace the spindle, tighten the screw and replace the plug.
