The waste collector is used for collecting the waste mate-
rial that is trimmed off during sewing.
1) Insert the waste collector between the sewing machine
and the machine table.
2) Pressing waste collector against the looper cover, shift
the former to the left.
* When the waste
collector is filled with
waste materials,
remove the waste
collector and empty
out it.

1) Remove the needle on the left side.
2) Move up the presser foot lifting lever.
3) Push section

of the presser foot holder to detach the
presser foot that has been used up to the present.
4) Move up the presser foot lifting lever until it will go no
further. Place the pin of blind stitch presser foot right
under the presser foot holder. Then, lower the presser
foot lifting lever. The blind stitch presser foot will be
automatically mounted to the holder by lowering the
lever.

Caution
When you want to remove the needle
or change the presser foot, be sure to
turn the power OFF.

In order to perform sewing while putting the crease of the
material against the guide plate, loosen the guide plate
setscrew and adjust the guide plate position to allow the
needle to enter the material at the point that is
1 to 1.5 mm inside the
crease of material.
Then, tighten the
guide plate setscrew.
