 optional switch function selection (Function setting No.12  SW 2) :  It is used only when it is 

combined with the machine head provided with the optional switch.

Functons to be assgned to the optonal swtch can be selected from the followng functons.

 

0 : No functon (Standard settng)

 

1 : Needle up / down compensatng sttchng : Every tme the swtch s pressed, normal feed 

sttchng by half sttch s performed. (Same operaton as that of up/down compensatng 
sttchng swtch on the panel.)

 

2 : No functon

 

3 : No functon

 

4 : Thread trmmng functon : Ths functon s actuated as the thread trmmng swtch.

 

5 : Presser foot lftng functon : Ths functon s actuated as the foot lfter swtch.

 

6 : One sttch compensatng sttch : Every tme the swtch s pressed, one sttch sttchng 

operaton s executed.

 

7 : No functon

 

8 : Pedal neutral presser lftng functon selecton 

 

Do not set to 2, 3, and 7. If these numbers are set, trouble or accdent wll be caused.

 Neutral automatic presser lifting function (with AK device only) (Function setting No.21  N-NPL)

Ths functon can automatcally lft the presser foot when the pedal s n the  neutral poston.
Automatc lftng tme of the pedal depends on the automatc lftng tme after thread trmmng and when 
the presser foot s automatcally lowered, t s automatcally lfted at the second neutral poston after t has 
come off the neutral poston once.
