3.4 Where to Lubricate
* In addition to the regular maintenance period, apply Albania grease to the ratchet
wheel and/or free link section if grease is removed from either of these parts when
you clean the tape feeder.
1) Ratchet
wheel
Apply Albania grease to each gum between teeth of the ratchet wheel.

Apply grease to eight gums of the entire wheel so that grease can fill gums.
②
Turn the ratchet wheel about three times so that grease can get to fit into the wheel.
③
Wipe off grease stuck to the surface (side) of the ratchet wheel.
Apply grease here.
2) Free
link
Apply Albania grease to the sliding surfaces of the free-link slide plate.
Apply Albania grease to the sliding surfaces of the free-link oscillating arm.
3) Oscillating arm spring hook
Apply Albania grease to the oscillating arm side of the rewinding spring hook.
Note: Take care so that any grease cannot be applied to the outer circumference
of the delivery roller rubber. If any grease is applied to the outer
circumference, wipe it with IPA completely.
Apply grease to this part
of the oscillating arm.
Apply grease to this part
of the slide plate.
Apply grease to this part.
Take care so that no grease can be
applied to the delivery roller rubber.
