6.4 Head location
Before placing the swing out rotor, check that the locking ring wedge is
in the right position.
Place the rotor on the spindle, ensuring that the keys and their lodgings
are perfectly aligned and that it fits perpendicular to the axis. The rotor
should slide easily,
it is not necessary to use a mallet or hammer.
Place and screw the locking nut in place and tighten using the spanner
provided.
Tighten the Allen screws on the locking nut block.
Periodically examine the status of the rotor and the buckets to check and
detect possible corrosion, micro fractures and mechanical deformations.
Fill the buckets.
Once filled, before placing them into the rotor, check
that the weight don’t differ in more than 15 grams.
Never use the equipment without having the windbreak cover on.
