CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before starting cleaning the appliance, always unplug the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Clean the unit with a damp and soft cloth.
- After having used the appliance remove the comb and using the cleaning brush
clean the body of the device, in order to remove any hair from the cutting blade.
- Never use detergents and solvents to clean the appliance.
- In order to grant a long and good performance to the appliance, it is advisable to oil often the
appliance. Unscrew the cutting unit, apply on oil drop and then allow the machine to run for several
seconds so that the unit can lubricate properly.
- Fit the protective cap after use; keep the device only with the fitted protective cap.
IMPORTANTWARNINGS
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged ,it must be changed by manufacturer or by its
service agent or by a qualified person in order to avoid an hazard.
If the item is used in bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water
presents an hazard even when the item is switched off.
SYMBOLS
Do not use this appliance in the vicinity of bathtubs, showers, basins or other water-
bearing containers.
This appliance complies with all applicable European Directives.
DISPOSAL
The device (including its removable parts and accessories) must not be disposed of
together with municipal waste at the end of its life, but in compliance with European
Directive 2002/96/EC. Since it must be handled separately from household waste, either carry it
to a separately-collected waste disposal centre for electrical and electronic appliances or give it
back to the retailer on purchasing a new device with the same purpose. Any infringement will be
severely prosecuted.
The batteries used in this device must be disposed of in the special bins at the end of their life.
