Gear change
High gear (2):
Take the crank out of the parking hook and pull it
out until the gear engages. A slight rotary motion
will facilitate the gear change. The gear must
engage.
Low gear (3):
Take the crank out of the parking hook and push it
in until the gear engages. A slight rotary motion will
facilities the gear change. The gear must engage.
3.2
To uncouple the semi-trailer
Park the trailer vehicle on a firm, flat surface (see manual for trailer
vehicle), if necessary using suitable plates (1).
Check the landing gear for signs of damage, if necessary repair it be-
fore use.
Engage the high gear or low gear and lower the landing gear.
Change from high gear into low gear before the foot touches the
ground.
Uncouple the tractor vehicle (see manuals for tractor and trailer)
Place the crank in the crank parking hook.
3.3
To couple the semi-trailer
Engage gear and set the coupling height
(see manuals for tractor and trailer).
After coupling the trailer, retract the legs completely.
Place the crank in the crank mounting with the gear engaged.

To load the supported trailer

When you have finished turning the crank, slowly release the
strain on the crank. There is a danger that the crank
will recoil. Do not overcrank.

The supported trailer may be
• loaded with a crane and
• driven on to by a forklift truck
observing the appropriate safety information.
Do not exceed the centre of gravity since otherwise the trailer
may tip over.
