Induction Heater JH400
The following troubleshooting table is useful when tracing the faults . The table lists the
most common faults and their possible causes and there might be additional faults and
possible causes other than those listed in the table .

Possible cause
Action
No power to the heater .
The heater is not plugged
into the wall outlet .
No voltage supply .
Loose connections .
Plug the heater to the wall outlet .
Check that there is power in the
wall outlet and check if the mains
protection has tripped .
Make sure that there are
no loose connections in the
electrical plug and the wall outlet .
Main power is sufficient, but the
heater doesn’t operate .
The ground breaker
operator has tripped .
Switch on the ground breaker
operator .
Water leakage between the
inductor handle and the inductor
head .
The gasket is damaged . Change or tighten .
The black cable cover is broken The cable cover has
been damaged .

The red LED “Over
temperature” is lighted and the
heater is turned off
The temperature of the
electronics is too high
Let the heater cool down or
change the water . Once the
heater has cooled down and
the LED is no longer lighted, the
heater is ready to use .
The red LED “Water flow” is
lighted and the heater is turned
off .
The flow of cooling water
is not correct
The water level is too low – fill up
with fluid.
The coarse filter of the pump is
blocked – clean the filter.
One of the water hoses is
blocked – Try cleaning with
compressed air .
The 2 red LEDs flash
simultaneously .
An unexpected error
occurred .
Release and press the trigger
again . If the error still occurs
switch the heater off and on
again by switching the main
breaker . If the problem still
remains contact JOSAM service
personnel .
