The drain pipe must have a continuous minimum fall of 6cm
per 1m run.
7.4.5
A condensate connecting point will already be provided as
part of the building design. The position of this point, relative
to where the heat recovery unit is to be installed, is to be
checked for any appreciable connection misalignment and
necessary adjustment made before proceeding any further.
NOTE:
The Q-Vent Compact-L unit is pre-configured for
drainage.
IMPORTANT:
There must be a sufficiently large visible gap
between the condensate drain pipe termination and the
collection point, to prevent ice buildup.
