5.  Check that the cooker hood is perfectly flush with the wall. If not, adjust 

the screws as necessary.

6.  Insert the filters (see page 7).

Connecting the exhaust pipe (filtering/recirculation)

7.  Connect the cooker hood to the mains.

An optional air deflector is available to direct exhaust air sideways, rather 

than upwards. The deflector can be obtained from www.johnlewis.com.

Connecting the exhaust pipe (exhaust extraction)

7.  Install the pipe support bracket on top of the cooker hood.

8.  Connect a pipe to the vent on top of the cooker hood. 

9.  Install the two decorative pipes on the cooker hood exhaust body.

10. Lift the inner pipe until it reaches the pipe support bracket and fasten in 

position using the no. 2 self-threaded screws.

9.  Connect the other end of the pipe to the air exhaust hole.

10. Connect the cooker hood to the mains.

Rear vented version 

The motor is fitted in the cooker hood with the vent on top. When the 

cooker hood is installed, the motor can be rotated so that the vent is on 

the rear of the cooker hood.

To rotate the cooker hood:

1.  Remove the aluminum filter and, if present, the charcoal filter (see  

page 7). 

2.  Remove the lid in the back of the hood, by unscrewing the two screws 

(1) in place (F).

3.  Unscrew the 4 screws (2) that hold the motor in the upper part (F).

4.  Remove the motor from the bottom of the hood (G).

5.  Take the lid you removed before from the back of the hood and fix it 

on top of the hood (H).

6.  Rotate the motor and put it in the opening of the hood (I).

7.  Using the screws you previously removed, fix the motor (J).

8.  Replace the filters in their seat (K).
