c) If the battery pack does not charge
properly, check to make sure the electrical
outlet is “live”.
d) The battery pack should only be
charged in an area where the temperature
is between 10
–40°C (50–105°F).
INSTALLING BATTERY IN VACUUM
1. Remove the discharged battery (1)
from the tool by pressing on the
battery release buttons (2) on each
side of the battery and pulling the
battery out of the tool handle (3)
(Fig. 2).
2. Slide the fully-charged battery into the
matching slots in the tool handle
where the discharged battery has
been removed.
NOTE: Make sure the battery is fully
engaged with the mounting slots in the
tool handle. The battery release
buttons will “click” into place when the
battery is fully installed
.
WARNING:
Do not immerse
battery pack in water. Sudden cooling
could cause hot battery to explode or
leak.
DUST CONTAINER & FILTER
1. Press down on dust container release
button (1) (Fig. 3).
2. Tip dust container (2) downward and
remove from motor housing (3).
