CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
1. Place the battery (1) in a dry location
near a 110
–120 V 60 Hz electrical
outlet (Fig. 1)
2. Place the charger base (2) over the
matching slots (3) of the battery.
NOTE:
Make sure the charger stand is
pressed fully onto the battery until the
battery latches (4) “click” into place.
3. Insert small charger plug (5) into
charger stand receptacle (6) and plug
the battery charger (7) into the
110
–120 V 60 Hz wall receptacle.
NOTES:
a) The green indicator light (8) will turn
ON indicating the charger is “live”.
b) The red indicator light (9) will come
ON when the battery pack is properly
inserted into the charger stand.
c) If red indicator light does not come
ON, check to make sure battery pack
is inserted fully into the charger and
the electrical outlet is working
properly.
d)
Both the red and green indicator
lights will remain ON as long as the
charger is plugged into the power
source and the battery is plugged
into the charging stand.
NOTES:
a) A new battery pack or one that is
completely run down should be charged
for 5 hours. After normal use, a battery
pack should be fully charged in about 3
hours.
b) It is normal for the battery charger to
hum and be warm to the touch during
operation.
