BMS Connectors (2nd Generation BMS)
On 2nd Generation BMS, the resistances to discharge the
cells are located on the cage heating area, while 4 temper-
ature sensors are placed on the same section to monitor
the cage temperature. With temperatures above 70°C the
BMS opens the internal battery contact to avoid overheat-
ing.
On the 1st Generation BMS the temperature sensors are
located on the board cards, and the internal battery con-
tact is opened when the temperature reaches 60°C.
